Iowa Energy season-ticket holders can purchase tickets for the NBA preseason game beginning Thursday. The game will mark the first NBA preseason game in Des Moines since Veterans Memorial Auditorium hosted the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. "It's going to be huge," Iowa Events Center general manager Chris Connolly told the Des Moines Register. The game will be a signature night for the building, which has hosted all kinds of sporting events ranging from Arena Football League to the NCAA Wrestling Championships to the NBA Development League.
